Board, Council and Initiatives - Wyoming Child Care Providers Summit

The Child Care Summit was established in 2001 by the Division to promote and encourage an ongoing discussion regarding the issues and challenges facing licensed child care providers across the state.

Membership is made up of 2 child care providers from each county in the state and related agencies that work with licensed child care providers. Members are asked to communicate with child care providers in their counties and bring information and concerns from those providers to the summit and also communicate information from the summit back to those same providers. The summit meets 3 times per year. Officers are elected every two years and must be licensed child care providers.

Each county is responsible for determining the criteria on how summit representatives are selected. If you are a licensed child care provider and interested in filling a vacancy in your county, contact Maleta Mangan, Membership Chairperson, (307) 742-3370 or via e-mail at: manganent@aol.com.
